Ducky

We have some more NEW pets! Yes, it is a zoo in here, but we love it!
We have baby chicks and a baby duck. The chicks think the duck is their mama. The problem is this duck seems to double in size daily!

Seeing the baby cow

Miss Janae's neighbor saved a baby calf that had been abandoned by it's Mother.  They took it home and have been bottle feeding him. We went to go visit the baby cow and even got to pet him. 

Dog Park

We went on an amazing field trip to the dog park. We got to watch the dogs go through the obstacle course. Then each child chose which dog they wanted to see do a specific obstacle. Afterwards they got to take turns meeting the dogs.

Easter Party

We played games, dyed eggs, learned the bunny hop, and went on an egg hunt!!

Planting our garden

Principal David took the kids out in small groups so they could all get a chance to plant some seeds in our garden. They enjoy looking everyday to see how much our garden has grown!

Green Eggs and Ham

We had a small celebration for Dr. Suess' Birthday. We read Green Eggs and Ham and then Miss Janae brought out some yummy green eggs and ham. We talked about how the boy in the book did not like them at all, but he had never tried them.  When he did try them he liked them. We reminded them of that when it was time to eat the green eggs,and I think everyone but a couple of the children tried them.

What was surprising was that most of the kids loved it and were asking for more!

Valentine's Party

Like all of our school parties we had a great time!

We played games and decorated cookies. The kids had so much fun handing out their Valentine's and it was a great time to practice our manners and to say thank you every time one was put in their bag.
